I never noticed that you never really laugh on the phone until I heard you laugh today. It was cute and it kind of made my night.

Have you ever had something that was just a daydream became a reality? I’ve waited my whole life to see the world, to get out of the bay, to do what I love and to have fun doing it. The scary thing is that it’s all about to come true. WHAT?

It’s a weird feeling to have things fall into place when you never expected it too. It’s kind of like wishing for Prince Charming, never expecting him to actually show, and then one day he knocks on your door and you’re kind of just like “uhhhh…what now?” Prince Charming in this case is my future, but the analogy still applies.

It’s funny because I have always loved spending hours upon hours dreaming about my future instead of my ideal mate. I guess that’s because this is something that I have control over. It’s something that I want to know that I’ve worked for and I want to be completely proud of it.

The next 7 months of my life is what I’ve been impatiently waiting, working, and dreaming for. I’ve put in the work and now I get to live it. Finally. My comfort zone will cease to exist and maybe that’s okay.

It’s hot, hot, hot, hot as hell outside.

I love it, it reminds me that summer is near. That freedom is near. That it’s almost time to play because god knows I’ve already let my hair down.

I’m so ready for the summer to come, then for fall, then for Paris. After some European frolicking (and maybe some other kind of licking…HA) then life! AHH!

We’re growing up faster than our mental capacities are ready for. What a scary scary thought but it’s so so exciting at the same time.

My academic career is almost over, and then it’s time to start building up my actual career. This is what I’ve been impatiently waiting for.
